Week 2, Thursday night: Buffalo 41, Detroit 31. Josh Allen moved the furniture. The chat tried to sell it.

I need a cooling-off period between a Thursday touchdown and this league opening the trade window. Buffalo and Detroit put on a football game, and Krumpin treated it like a liquidation auction with a television in the corner. Gibbs was a bust, then a stud. GolfNut opened a fire sale. Haters celebrated avoiding Josh Allen and somehow forgot there was another opponent on the schedule.

This is Week 2 head-to-head, not last week's all-play escape room. Thursday's player scores are final; the matchups are not. The Live Proj numbers below are estimates for the full week, not checks anybody can cash.

DGAD 45.72, BNF 0: the relief GIF belonged to somebody else

Josh Allen delivered 45.72 for DGAD. One starter. BNF has not played anybody yet and already needs the kind of Sunday normally accompanied by a documentary crew. Yahoo's Live Proj has DGAD at 146.20 and BNF at 135.83. That is a lead, not a death certificate, but the opening statement was rude.

At 5:28 p.m., Haters Gonna Hate posted the relief GIF below and celebrated not playing DGAD this week. The schedule spared Haters from DGAD. It did not grant immunity from the rest of the league.

The relief GIF Haters Gonna Hate posted in the Krumpin chat during Thursday's game
Haters Gonna Hate, Thursday at 5:28 p.m.: relief at avoiding DGAD. A real chat reaction, not a forecast.

BNF had Khalil Shakir's 5.40 on the bench. That is not the missing answer to Allen; that is finding a five-dollar bill while the kitchen floods. The starters still get their turn.

Ball Don't Lie 45.08, Ghost of Twomp 22: the Ferrari has opposition

Jared Goff's 30.68 and Sam LaPorta's 14.40 put Ball Don't Lie in front. Jahmyr Gibbs gave Ghost of Twomp 22.00, which is perfectly respectable unless the other side brought a quarterback and his tight end to the argument. Live Proj: 149.53–133.44 for Ball Don't Lie.

The chat's valuation department had a difficult evening. At 5:31 p.m., Haters announced, “Gibbs sucks, Twomp got ripped off”. Ghost of Twomp immediately offered, “Gibbs for sale”. By 6:14 p.m., Haters had revised the prospectus to “Gibbs what a stud, he's truly untradable”.

That is not scouting. That is a stock ticker attached to a smoke alarm. Gibbs finished with a useful night. Ball Don't Lie simply finished Thursday with more of one. The new Ferrari runs; it just discovered traffic.

Tony's Terrific Team 38.60, Haters Gonna Hate 0: check the actual opponent

Amon-Ra St. Brown produced 31.50 and Jake Bates added 7.10. Tony's Terrific Team took Haters' little DGAD celebration and mailed it back with a 148.19–116.69 projected full-week score attached.

Haters had no Thursday starters. That explains the zero, not the optimism. The current lineup also shows an empty W/R/T slot, which can still be filled before the remaining games. A roster opening is a task, not a strategy. Tony's team finally has something to discuss besides the emotional support requirements of Week 1.

Kittle Corn 23.40, Dan's Deepball 0: the trade desk keeps both channels on

Dalton Kincaid supplied 19.40; Tyler Bass supplied 4.00. Kittle Corn leads the played-points board here and has the smaller advantage in Live Proj, 126.77–123.09. Dan's Deepball has not started scoring. Nobody gets to declare the week over because a tight end had a good Thursday.

After Gibbs scored, Kittle Corn's position was wonderfully uncomplicated: “Rooting for both”, posted at 6:14 p.m. The former employee could succeed elsewhere while the current staff got paid at home. Ten minutes later, the chat had a Kincaid celebration GIF ready to go.

Haters Gonna Hate posted this Kincaid reaction GIF Thursday at 6:24 p.m. The clip is from an older Baltimore–Buffalo game, not Thursday's Detroit game.

EzMoney 23.60, My Team Sucks! 0: a good Cook, not a finished meal

James Cook III banked 23.60 for EzMoney. My Team Sucks! still has the projected edge, 138.71–125.66, because the zero is a schedule, not a completed performance. Jameson Williams' 4.70 stayed on the Sucks bench. No emergency hearing required. EzMoney's current kicker slot is empty; filling it remains more useful than admiring Thursday's lead.

King James 0, GolfNut −0.10: the fire sale has a cover charge

DJ Moore finished at −0.10. A negative score by itself does not prove the lineup decision was wrong. The appropriate target is the response: at 8:55 p.m., GolfNut declared, “Fire sale!! CMC Javonte’s…everyone on the block!!”

King James has not played anybody and leads. The Live Proj is still close, 137.60–135.00 for King James. GolfNut does not need to auction the clubhouse over a projection that small. Naturally, the auctioneer is already warming up.

4th and INCHES 0, Dat's It 0: the only quiet room

No Thursday starters on either side. Live Proj favors 4th and INCHES 139.10–133.08. Both teams reached Friday without a new statistical grievance. In this league, that qualifies as suspicious behavior.

Skip's call: DGAD makes Allen's head start hold against BNF. Haters' relief GIF ages considerably worse. Thursday gave the league points; it did not give anybody patience.
