Krumpin: The Jalon Daniels Tax Is $18
Kittle Corn's $60 Daniels bid topped the next offer by $18, while BNF paid $52 for Ollie Gordon. Seven Week 4 matchups are waiting.
The waiver desk opened with a pair of checks big enough to make the group chat sit up straight. Kittle Corn put $60 on Jalon Daniels; BNF followed with $52 for Ollie Gordon II. The Week 4 receipt printer is working overtime.
The big bids
Kittle Corn won Daniels with $60. EzMoney was next at $42, with GolfNut at $38. That is an $18 gap over the next-highest offer—not a tie-breaker, not a rounding error, a deliberate premium.
BNF's $52 for Ollie Gordon II also cleared a real field. Ghost of Twomp was next at $36, followed by Tony's Terrific Team at $22. BNF paid $16 more than the next offer. Put the two headline purchases together and the top of the board moved $112.
That is a serious pair of bets. The useful question is not whether the names are exciting; it is whether those bets turn into the kind of weekly starts that make a manager stop checking the remaining balance. The waiver wire has supplied the receipt. Sunday has to supply the explanation.

The quiet wins were decided by priority
EzMoney got Jakobi Meyers for $5, but My Team Sucks! also bid $5. Yahoo marked that offer lower priority, so the tie-breaker—not extra cash—settled it. Keaton Mitchell went to 4th and INCHES for $0 over DGAD's $0 offer, again on waiver priority. Two useful reminders from the small-print corner: a tie is still a contest, and sometimes the winning bid is no dollars at all.
Week 4: seven H2H matchups
These are early projection estimates, not results; lineups and totals can still move.
- King James (1–2) vs BNF (0–3): the estimate is nearly even, 125.8 to 122.1. King James gets the narrow edge; BNF is still looking for the first win.
- 4th and INCHES (2–1) vs DGAD (2–1): both arrive even in record, but the estimate leans 144.1 to 126.5 toward 4th and INCHES. DGAD has the job of making that paper gap irrelevant.
- Ball Don't Lie (2–1) vs Kittle Corn (1–2): the early line tilts to Kittle Corn, 143.3 to 135.3. The Daniels bid gets its first H2H test right away.
- Dat's It (2–1) vs Haters Gonna Hate (3–0): Haters brings the unbeaten record and a 139.1-to-129.5 projection edge. Dat's It can make the standings less tidy.
- EzMoney (1–2) vs GolfNut (3–0): GolfNut is favored on the estimate, 143.8 to 120.1. Meyers already has a new address; the rest of the lineup has the larger assignment.
- Ghost of Twomp (1–2) vs Tony's Terrific Team (0–3): the projection gives Tony a 129.8-to-110.0 edge in the winless club's derby. Somebody gets a first victory; the early math says Tony.
- My Team Sucks! (1–2) vs Dan's Deepball (2–1): records point one way, the estimate the other: My Team Sucks! leads 146.7 to 131.6 on paper. Dan's Deepball gets the chance to make the standings count more than the forecast.
Two big bids are in the books. Now the locker room gets to find out whether they bought a Sunday problem for the other teams—or just an expensive receipt.
