vu-INAL has found a genuinely irritating way to live with two strikes: finish first and make everyone else finance the coping mechanism. A second straight weekly high score, another $55, and 148.94 points later, the man standing nearest the trapdoor is somehow selling tickets to the show.

Meanwhile, gary-41TUQ and dan-8EDQG each collected strike two. Nobody is eliminated, but the two-strike waiting room now has three chairs. vu has apparently upgraded his to a massage recliner.

## The $55: Huntley drove, Gibbs brought the explosives

vu-INAL beat VoBster by 12.92 points. Tyler Huntley delivered 24.04 at a $21 salary, Jahmyr Gibbs detonated for 35.20, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba added 20.30\. Braelon Allen supplied 18.10 from a $13 flex slot, while Kyle Pitts Sr. chipped in 12.70 for $11\. That is a lot of production from the part of the shopping cart normally reserved for questionable bargains.

Credit the lineup. Then immediately remind vu that selecting Gibbs does not confer ownership of the Detroit offense. Six entries had the same 35.20-point engine; one of them still finished tenth. The difference was everything bolted around it. vu's supporting cast showed up, and even Devaughn Vele's 4.60 did not spoil dinner.

The tracker has vu first in Week 4 and first again here. That is a verified two-week high-score streak, not an invented head-to-head winning streak. Two strikes remain attached. Cash is not an eraser.

Final Yahoo scores. vu-INAL earns the weekly $55; gary-41TUQ and dan-8EDQG receive strikes as the two lowest still-eligible entries. All PMR zero.

## Two fresh strikes, one very relieved Kaeptain

**dan-8EDQG: 98.00, eleventh, strike two.** Puka Nacua's 29.20 and Aaron Rodgers' 22.00 tried to carry this thing upstairs. TreVeyon Henderson's 4.30, Romeo Doubs' 2.10 and Brian Robinson's 1.60 kept moving the furniture back down. A perfectly respectable pair of headliners spent the afternoon performing in front of an empty support act. Dan's previous strike came in Week 1; this is his second, not a season-pot exit.

**gary-41TUQ: 101.82, tenth, strike two.** Jared Goff, Gibbs and Sam LaPorta combined for 81.44 points. The remaining six slots combined for 20.38\. That is less a balanced lineup than three adults taking six folding chairs to a barbecue. Roman Wilson's injury-related zero deserves sympathy, not hindsight swagger; the broader math was still brutal. Gary now has strikes in consecutive weeks after also landing in the Week 4 bottom two.

**KaeptainMICHAEL: 105.46, ninth, no strike.** The clearance above Gary was 3.64 points. Derrick Henry's 20.50 and Mike Evans' 22.80 supplied useful cover, while T.J. Hockenson's 1.20 and DK Metcalf's 3.80 made the landing feel considerably less dignified. Kaeptain remains strike-free through five weeks. Ninth place has never looked so much like a luxury suite.

## The rest of the room, in finishing order

**VoBster, second — 136.02.** Gibbs and Nacua combined for 64.40, with Jameis Winston adding 25.74\. A strong runner-up, still without a strike, and still without this week's $55\. Dallas' defense contributed one point, apparently as a symbolic gesture.

**Daniel-1A2JAF, third — 134.38.** Christian Watson's 29.30, Jacoby Brissett's 25.78 and Trey McBride's 17.10 kept Daniel in the money conversation. Vele's 4.60 was the conversational pause. No strike; no repeat of Daniel's Week 2 payday.

**hieu-3S3PB, fourth — 126.64.** Gibbs, George Pickens' 23.50 and San Francisco's 18-point defense built a sturdy platform. Hockenson and Doubs combined for 3.30\. Even the fourth-place lineup contained a small haunted basement. Hieu stays clean.

**Jon-12N2G7, fifth — 123.78.** Bucky Irving's 30.50 and Brissett's 25.78 moved Jon well away from the strike line. Week 4's escape was four hundredths over sjslacker; Week 5 required significantly less blood-pressure equipment. Jon keeps one strike, with two consecutive strike-free weeks since Week 3.

**sjslacker, sixth — 123.46.** Gibbs in the flex and Brissett at quarterback helped absorb Mike Washington Jr.'s 1.50\. Sixth place, one strike, no new scar. Joe and Jon finished 0.32 apart this week, but neither was anywhere near the bottom two. This time the tiny margin was just neighborhood gossip.

**steven-4MF6E, seventh — 119.06.** Brissett, Pat Freiermuth's 19.00 and Aaron Jones Sr.'s 17.20 did enough. The Chargers defense's three points did not exactly send a thank-you note. Steve remains strike-free.

**Twomp, eighth — 107.60.** Josh Allen's 31.50 and Gibbs' 35.20 combined for 66.70; the other seven slots combined for 40.90\. Carnell Tate, Dohnte Meyers and Harold Fannin Jr. totaled 4.20\. The penthouse had a very suspicious elevator. Still: no strike, and all five weeks remain clean.

## Injury desk: bad luck is not a punchline

Roman Wilson was in Gary's actual lineup and finished with 0.00\. [ProFootballTalk's Josh Alper, via Yahoo on October 12](https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/report-steelers-wr-roman-wilson-183501334.html?ref=krumpin.jbhobby.com), reported that Wilson left the Colts game with a finger injury and did not catch a pass before leaving. That is a verified injury impact, not proof of a bad selection. No independent diagnosis or return date is being added here.

Yahoo's fresh lineup data also carries injury-status flags for players including Henderson, Hockenson, Quinshon Judkins, Will Shipley and Smith-Njigba. Those labels alone do not establish an in-game injury or explain a low score, so this recap does not pretend they do. Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels and Jayden Reed are not in any of the 11 verified Week 5 lineups; no unrelated injury story is being pasted into this contest.

## Survival board: three on the chopping block, all 11 still alive

Two strikes: **vu-INAL, gary-41TUQ, dan-8EDQG**. One: **Jon-12N2G7, sjslacker**. Zero: **VoBster, Daniel-1A2JAF, hieu-3S3PB, steven-4MF6E, Twomp, KaeptainMICHAEL**. Eight strikes have been assigned through Week 5\. Nobody has reached three.

![Cumulative strike leaderboard through Week 5 for all 11 entries](https://krumpin.jbhobby.com/content/images/2026/10/week5-cumulative-strikes-1.png)

Through Week 5: three teams on two strikes, two on one, six on zero; no eliminated teams to separate. Calculated from the freshly read Week 4 tracker and verified Week 5 final scores. The Google sheet itself is not yet updated.

The five-week points totals put vu at 622.92, Twomp at 602.02 and Daniel at 599.36\. Those are cumulative DFS points, not W/L standings, and they do not overrule the elimination rules. The weekly $55 belongs to vu; another $55 is allocated to the season-long pot under the house rules. Third strike means season-pot elimination, while eliminated teams can still chase the weekly payout.

**Tracker note:** the public Google sheet was freshly read with all 11 Week 5 score cells still blank. Its six strikes through Week 4 reconcile with the prior weekly scores and final recap history. The Week 5 scores and two new strikes above are verified calculations, not a claim that the sheet has been updated. The available browser is signed out and view-only, and the Google API token was previously revoked/expired. Tracker write, whole-row sorting and the actual updated-sheet screenshot remain blocked. No imitation sheet graphic has been substituted.

Week 6 now has three teams one strike from the exit, six teams pretending clean records are permanent, and vu holding the most obnoxious possible combination: immediate danger and a freshly earned $55\. The league is alive. Gary and Dan would prefer it stop making that beeping noise.
